But what I've found, when I do connect, is that doves make pretty good table fare. Once we have our limit we usually breast them out. To prepare them we roll them in flour and deep fry them and serve them up with French fries and a slice of lime. Sometimes when I’m feeling real ambitious I’ll take the breast, put a piece of jalapeno with it and wrap it in bacon and grill it over mesquite.
