New from Hi Mountain Seasonings is their line of Bacon Seasonings. Bacon is delicious, that’s a fact. It’s hard to imagine making bacon even better, but it is possible. Hi Mountain put together “Black Pepper & Brown Sugar”, “Pineapple Sriracha” and “Sticky Bun” flavors that can be dusted right over your bacon to kick up the flavor. My personal favorite happens to be the Black Pepper flavor that I’ve been using a lot lately while grilling bacon wrapped hotdogs and sausages. Their Rub Blends are also fantastic and come in several different offerings. We’re in the throes of summer and grilling season right now so steaks are obviously center stage. Whether it’s beef steaks, deer steaks, elk steaks – you get the idea – their Steak Rub is awesome. It creates a great crust around your steak that adds a flavor and a little heat to each bite. The Venison Rub really shines as well, adding just the right flavor to your venison cuts of meat. However, it’s worth noting that these flavors are really versatile and can be used in many different ways, not just as labeled on the bottle. The Buckboard Bean Western Style Seasoning is a huge hit in my house too. It’s a smoky delicious flavor you’ll want to add to everything.
