If you’re looking for a fun way to spend some of the upcoming holiday season, there are plenty of opportunities to get outdoors with friends or family and have some fun. Destination Yamaha is an initiative all about adventure, new experiences and new vehicles. Steve says Yamaha has nearly 50 Destination Yamaha locations across the country where people can rent the Yamaha vehicle(s) of their choice and enjoy trail riding and a getaway in the outdoors. It’s a fun experience, but also affords people the opportunity to try vehicles before they buy them. Steve says each Yamaha partner and destination has a varied fleet for the terrain in their part of the country and it’s not just ATVs and Side-by-Sides that outdoor enthusiasts can try. Different locations have snowmobiles and motorcycles in their fleets as well. Destination Yamaha locations can be found coast to coast, even in Alaska!
Getting kids involved in the outdoors at a young age is a great way to foster a lifelong passion for outdoor recreation. Yamaha’s Grizzly 90 is a fantastic way to encourage the kids in your life to invest more of their time in the outdoors. Steve says the Grizzly 90 is for trail riders ages 10-years-old and up and it’s a great compliment and companion to the full size Grizzly. It lets kids take an active role in family outings and a throttle limiter allows parents to control speed as the skill set of the user grows. Yamaha’s youth oriented models like the Grizzly 90, Raptor 90 and YFZ50 afford kids as young as 6 to start riding. Yamaha offers affordable prices on these youth machines and they also have all the safety gear they’ll need like helmets, eye protection, gloves, long sleeve apparel and more.
Side-by-Sides are wonderful for including family or friends in your off-road outings. Yamaha’s recreational and utility Side-by-Side models provide seating for up to 6 passengers with their YXZ, Wolverine and Viking models. The extra occupancy can be used to haul more passengers or more cargo making them very versatile, Steve says. Like the youth models, Side-by-Sides encourage teenagers, or people of any age, to get away from the screen, put down their phones and have fun in the outdoors. In addition to fun, these machines also offer a lot of muscle to handle poor weather and the rough trails that can come as a result. They’ll bail you out in a pinch, Steve says. Attach a plow so you can clear a driveway or road, use the power to push through rough terrain to reach your hunting destination or work site and more. Yamaha’s family of Side-by-Sides are useful tools, Steve says.
Aside from ATVs and Side-by-Sides, Yamaha also produces some great power products. Steve says Yamaha’s line of generators and inverters are really handy. Not only are they practical to have when the power goes out, but generators and inverters can also serve a year round purpose by powering camps or job sites and providing juice about anywhere you go. With a broad range of power offerings, there is a unit to meet the demands of almost anyone.
