He calls the waters of eastern Kansas home and has been navigating the high waters of the Kansas River, Missouri River and surrounding lakes and fisheries. CatDaddy says he is looking for the fishing to come back as the water levels recede. With the high water, new fish have found their way into the waters and once things settle out a little he expects the fishing to be dynamite. While it has been so devastating for people, fish may actually benefit from the flood waters this spring. He notes that the blue cat action has been hot below the spillways as they stack up moving upstream which presents a great opportunity for catfishermen. Letting the high-water fisheries be for the moment, CatDaddy says he is focusing on waters that are better controlled and focusing his attention there. Once boat ramps become visible and the water levels even out he is preparing to get his bean-hole set up for hot summer catfishing action.
Listen in as CatDaddy highlights how to make the most of Mother Nature’s wrath.
