Fortunately for me, I recently installed LOCK & RIDE BED WALL EXTENDERS on my Polaris RANGER and locking things up in my cargo box is exactly what I can do. I carry a lot of different things in my cargo box, but I’ll start with my favorite, my dogs.
In addition to having four kiddos, I also have two four legged kids that are an integral part of the family. They go everywhere and do everything with us and riding in our RANGER is no exception, but here is where the “lock it up” tactic comes in to play. Our border collie, Patches, rides like an old pro. He loves to put his feet on the dash and attempt to swallow as much air as possible as we cruise down the road. However, our basset hound puppy, Toby, is a bit restless and will attempt to leap or sneak out if given the chance. The Bed Wall Extenders solve this problem for us, we can put them both in the cargo box and lock the gate with the comfort of knowing that they can’t climb out or fall out. At the same time they can still be with us, instead of being locked up at home. The gate swings open on a hinge and the bed wall extenders do not affect the tailgate operation so loading and unloading is simple. Swing open the gate, open the tail gate, load the dogs in and secure the gate and tailgate and you are done.
These Bed Wall Extenders offer RANGER owners so much versatility in the cargo they can carry and the volume of cargo they can transport. Property management is important and recently we spent a great deal of time out cutting down old trees, trimming up dead branches and working on habitat improvement projects. These kinds of projects take a lot of tools and loading up the cargo box with chainsaws, pruners, gas cans, shovels, rakes, and even a cooler for refreshments isn’t a problem and you don’t have to worry about losing anything on the trails coming or going because you have built in walls to secure all your cargo. In addition to carrying all the tools required, we used the box to then haul out all of the trees and limbs we took out and didn’t have to go back and pick up a trail of sticks and foliage that usually falls out along the way. Ask my wife and she’ll tell you that there is no such thing as too much storage, and she may be right. Are you shooting clays this weekend? Load your automatic thrower into the back as well as box after box of clay pigeons and you don’t have to worry about any of it falling out on bumpy roads. Are you hanging treestands or setting up ground blinds? The cargo box, with help from the bed wall extenders, can carry more of each because of the increased box capacity. Spending the day doing yard work? Load your cargo box with grass clippings, plant trimmings, bags of mulch, rock or more.
The Bed Wall Extenders install quickly and easily with the Lock & Ride technology. The walls are made of steel mesh and are strong and durable enough to securely hold all of your cargo, including things that may extend above the top of the cargo box. If you use your cargo box frequently, you should check out the Bed Wall Extenders, you’ll be surprised how handy they come in.
