The Cabela's Quick-Set Screen Shelter is a multi-purpose tent that provides overnight shelter, but also offers a large space to utilize during the day. It's like a portable, screened gazebo with durable mesh like panels that allow the breeze to travel through, but keep all the bugs out. The six hunting blind hub style walls create a large footprint of 12'6"L x 12'6"W x 7'10"H. It's large enough you can fit a picnic table inside for nice bug free meals. The space lends itself well to setting up many lawn chairs for all day protection and relaxation. The 110 square foot tent would also accommodate several sleepers at night. The idea of a "large tent" might have you thinking that it is also a lot of work to set up and take down. However, the large hub style assembly makes it possible for just one person to set up or take down in a minute or less. The structural support for the tent comes from steel poles and large, flex-tested fiberglass poles that are designed to withstand wind. The outer material is a water-resistant 210-denier polyester-oxford with taped seams for protection from light rain. Each hub is designed to act as a large mesh window, but can also be closed down using the attached window panels that roll up and stow away above the windows. That material can also be pulled taut and used as an awning by placing the included aluminum poles in the built-in corner grommets of the window panels. That means the tent can provide a porch-like 360° awning or 360° zip down wind panel. A single door with a large zipper provides easy access for campers, but also for bringing large pieces of gear in and out of the tent.
